In Classroom Instruction

Course Objectives:

  • Create lessons in Notebook software that encourage touch, object manipulation, and physical interaction in classroom activities
  • Master features such as locking, grouping, and cloning to make classroom activities more enticing
  • Evaluate the benefits and advantages of whole group, small group, and individual instruction with SMART boards

Course Description:

This workshop discusses the spectrum of interactivity and gives teachers strategies to create more interactive content. Attention will be given to various theories, including Universal Design for Learning, Multiple Intelligences, and Universal Design for Instruction. Teachers should have access to a computer for hands-on activities.
