Course Objectives:

  • Gain valuable skills for the classroom implementation of hardware meant to engage learners, differentiate learning, and enhance existing curriculum
  • Learn how to utilize multiple means and materials to teach more effectively and efficiently
  • Develop strategies for using the document camera to integrate unique, limited-quantity, and older print resources into regular classroom instruction
  • Prepare for a learning environment enhanced by SMART solutions, allowing for greater movement in the classroom and for the engagement of mobility- impaired or passive learners
  • Receive glimpses of future developments such as Mixed Reality

Course Description:

This workshop provides an introduction to SMART hardware solutions, care, maintenance, and troubleshooting as well as software deployment, drivers, and the interaction of SMART products with other user resources. Special attention will be given to classroom implementation strategies for the various solutions, including best practices and specific examples from expert users.
